| The year 2003 saw financial investment of RMB 184 million by Taizhou in science and technology. Taizhou primarily took shape in its hi-tech industry and succeeded in holding the National Fair of Scientific-Technological Achievements, Patented Technology and New Products. In 2003 came into being 8 new hi-tech enterprises of national level (totally 15), 39 new hi-tech enterprises of provincial enterprises (totally 108) and 5 new R&D centers of hi-tech enterprises (totally 20). |
